What You Can Expect on Sundays
Finding and attending church can be pressuring for many. At MRBC, we understand this and want to help you to have a meaningful experience when you visit with us. It’s not unusual to have questions, doubts, concerns or fear relating to a personal relationship with the Lord.
We want to help you on this journey. When you come to Middletown Road Baptist Church, you’ll learn that you’re not only among friends, but what seems more like family, and each of us have been where you are at one point in our lives or another.
While we’re not a mega church with a live band, at MRBC you’ll have a warm experience with friendly faces, classic Christian hymns and inspirational messages that you can apply to your own life, along with a welcoming atmosphere.
First visits anywhere can bring a lot of questions. How do I get there? Where do I park? What door do I go in? Will they know I’m new or can I just blend in? What should I wear? What can I expect once I’m there? What’s available for my kids?
We hope that we can help to answer some of your concerns below.
Personally knowing God
God desires a personal relationship with YOU! He knows every hair on your head. Many think Jesus is off in the distance some where, but he’s not. He’s very close and waiting on YOU to commune with him daily and experience peace, purpose and incredible transformation through his spirit on a regular basis.
I’ve never been here before?
What should I wear?
to over think it too much. Your experience and the time you spend with God at the
church is what’s really important.
What can I expect once there?
What Do You Have For My Kids?
the kids sit in the front couple pews with the bible study teacher until it’s time to
go downstairs for study.
They sing a couple hymns during the service first and then move to bible study
downstairs. All of our teachers are certified by the state as required by law.
When the bible study ends, the kids come back upstairs until
the service ends which isn’t very long at that point.
about 1:15 followed by an afternoon prayer service for those who can stay.
