Missions We Support
Matthew 25:40
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Our Missions
When we come together, we can positively impact lives all around the world and we at MRBC are changing lives in those places where people need help the most in their personal lives.
At Middletown Road Baptist Church, our goal has always been to provide the necessary hope that people need to heal and witness their own transformation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ .
Here are the missions that we regularly support both locally and internationally around the world:
UIM International Biblical Ministry is sharing the good news about Jesus and works to establish biblically based indigenous churches. Today they reach 35 tribal groups in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Paul and Laura Tiblin fly into dangerous areas of the mountains of Mexico.
Rock of Ages Prison Ministry: Roger Napper is a missionary for the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry who operates internationally to spread the Gospel to those in prison, military and educational outreach as well. His wife Myrna also visits prisons to teach and preach. They have continued to grow in recent years.
Slippery Rock Baptist Camp: A Christian camp offering week-long camps, retreats, and events for various ages. The camp’s primary focus is to serve Christ and help those involved in the camp to love and serve others through faith-based activities. MRBC supports all the camp’s needs.
Wanawake Red Stains Ministry in Uganda: Many women both young and older can’t afford the necessary hygiene menstrual products that they need. Young girls are suffering embarrassment and shame during their cycle while in school, simply because they have no way to control the flow. This ministry makes and teaches others how to make reusable pads that the women and girls can wash, dry and use over and over. Our church supports the needs of this mission.
If you have ever asked yourself “how can I get involved in missions?”
The first thing you should do is to ask the Lord how HE would have you serve? You must be obedient to HIS will and direction for you. Whether HE asks you to pray, give, welcome or mobilize others, you should do this with complete joy in your heart.
What does MISSIONS mean?
MISSIONS is the obedient work of the Gospel of bearing witness of Jesus Christ and teaching His disciples through the Word of God.
WORK – What are you doing in your own life to share Jesus?
WORD – What are you doing to share the Word with others? Are you reading the Word daily yourself?
